Pre-wedding preparations & photos Plan to stay at The Crown Hotel for the lead up to your special day.  Choose from our Heritage Studio suites, Studio Premium suites or our One Bedroom Premium suites to get ready with your bridesmaids or groomsmen.  Our suites have a variety of facilties spread out over the different room types including; brand new furnishings, spa baths, kitchenettes, separate lounges, robes, stereo soundsystem, and space for make-up/hair stylists to work their magic on the brides and bridesmaids.  The Ahuriri village has many facilities on hand such as the Ahuriri Pharmacy for the last minute stock up on "rescue remedy" or cuff links, and many cafes, bars and restaurants for a last minute drink to calm your nerves! The Heritage building and Heritage Studio suites offer a great backdrop for your pre-wedding photos.  One of our Heritage Studio suites has a conveniently located skylight that gives the impression of a professionally lit studio, as you will see in the adjacent photo. The studio premium rooms offer direct ocean views as a backdrop for your pre-wedding photos. The Crown Hotel is also central to fabulous wedding photography locations including the Ahuriri Beach, Perfume Point Lighthouse with the large concrete boulders and the historic art deco British American Tobacco building.

Honeymoon Getaway Are you looking for the perfect spot to whisk your new bride or groom to, which will leave a breathtaking and lasting romantic impression?  The Crown Hotel has many packages to choose from that make the most of our premium suites as well as explores the local area: The Ahuriri Experience package gives you a chance to sample the new Milk & Honey Restaurant, zoom around on a Scooter Girl scooter and stay in one of our new studio premium suite.  The Church Road Collection package offers a sampling of this award winning wine, as well as a tour around the Church Road winery and museum. The Romantic Wine & Dine package enjoys a bottle of bubbles and fruit platter on arrival.  Dinner at the local Provedore or Milk & Honey Restaurant with a late check out to make the most of your luxury suites and a delicious breakfast from Milk & Honey. With Hawke's Bay being one of the winery capitals of New Zealand, there is always plenty of wine and fine dining to sample.
